Stamping
Blockchain sealingRole
Before the content is distributed, it is sealed on the blockchain: its fingerprint (hash) is recorded to prove that it existed at that moment and has not changed since. The content never leaves: only its fingerprint travels.
Value for your organization
- Evidences the content and proves its existence at a certain date, verifiable by anyone.
- Double lock: the LNET blockchain and the digital-signature timestamp.
- Groups the seals into Merkle trees: many documents are sealed at once, with fewer resources and without making anyone wait.
- If the content is altered afterwards, its fingerprint no longer matches and the change is detected.
